Though He was in the form of God, did not count equality with God a thing to be grasped, but emptied Himself, taking the form of a servant, being born in the likeness of men. And being found in human form He humbled Himself and became obedient unto death, even death on a cross. Therefore God has highly exalted Him and bestowed on Him the name which is above every name, that at the name of Jesus every knee should bow, in heaven and on earth and under the earth, and every tongue confess that Jesus Christ is Lord, to the glory of God the Father. (Phil 2:6-11)
Jesus said, "No one has ascended into heaven but He who descended from heaven, the Son of man. And as Moses lifted up the serpent in the wilderness, so must the Son of man be lifted up, that whoever believes in Him may have eternal life. (Jn 3:13-15) This is the work of God, that you believe in Him whom He has sent (Jn 6:29). He who believes in Me, does not believe in Me but in Him who sent Me” (Jn 12:44).
“You are My witnesses,” declares the LORD, “And My servant whom I have chosen, so that you may know and believe Me and understand that I am He. Before Me there was no God formed, and there will be none after Me" (Isa 43:10).
The one who believes in the Son of God has the testimony in himself; the one who does not believe God has made Him a liar, because he has not believed in the testimony that God has given concerning His Son (1 Jn 5:10).
Believe in the Lord Jesus, and you will be saved, you and your household (Acts 16:31). These have been written so that you may believe that Jesus is the Christ, the Son of God; and that believing you may have life in His name (Jn 20:31). For this reason I found mercy, so that in me as the foremost, Jesus Christ might demonstrate His perfect patience as an example for those who would believe in Him for eternal life (1 Tim 1:16). Now if we have died with Christ, we believe that we shall also live with Him (Rom 6:8).
Lord, I believe (Jn 9:38). I do believe; help my unbelief (Mk 9:24). Teach me good discernment and knowledge, for I believe in Your commandments (Ps 119:66).
