You shall love the Lord your God with all your heart, and with all your soul, and with all your mind. (Matthew 22:37)

TRUST IN THE LORD!

Blessed is the man who trusts in the Lord, whose hope is the Lord. He is like a tree planted beside the waters that stretches out its roots to the stream: It fears not the heat when it comes, its leaves stay green; in the year of drought it shows no distress, but still bears fruit. (Jeremiah 17:7-8)

Trust in the LORD for ever, for the LORD GOD is an everlasting rock (Isaiah 26:4).

Those who trust in him will understand truth, and the faithful will abide with him in love, because grace and mercy are upon his elect, and he watches over his holy ones (Wisdom 3:9).

Our heart is glad in him, because we trust in his holy name (Psalm 33:21).

PRAYER
Father in heaven, Thy immortal spirit is in all things. Therefore thou dost correct little by little those who trespass, and dost remind and warn them of the things wherein they sin, that they may be freed from wickedness and put their trust in thee, O Lord (Wisdom 12:1-2).

Thou dost keep him in perfect peace, whose mind is stayed on thee, because he trusts in thee. (Isaiah 26:3).

If I saw the gates of Hell open and I stood on the brink of the abyss, I should not despair, I should not lose hope of mercy, because I should trust in You, my God (St. Gemma Galgani).
